COUGAR MOUNTAIN INTRODUCES DOUBLE CHOCOLATE OREGON HAZELNUT VARIETY

Seattle, WA - September 15, 2011 – Cougar Mountain Baking Co., a regional producer of gourmet, all-natural cookies and cookie dough, has announced the addition of a new variety to their 10 oz. Boxed Cookie line:

WILLAMETTE VALLEY
Double Chocolate Oregon Hazelnut

When asked about the reason for adding this new variety, CMBC President David Saulnier said, "We have long wanted to share the bounty of our neighbor to the south, Oregon State, with our cookie customers. By partnering with small family-owned farms in the Willamette Valley, we feel we have created another delicious, unique variety to further separate ourselves from our competition. Furthermore we're voting with our dollars to support local, sustainable farming".

In order to make room for this new item, CMBC had to discontinue the Triple Chocolate Walnut variety. Saulnier also remarked, "If this was your favorite variety, we feel sure that you will love this change to our most chocolatey cookie!".
